Our monthly time of Corporate Prayer and a day of fasting is Friday, May 3, 2024. Prayer and will be at the home of Erinn Reed. The daylong fast will end with a light meal after prayer. Women, if you want fellowship and discipleship, come June 17 from 10 am-noon to The Wisdom Circle, an informal 31:30 gathering where the older women teach the younger women through asking questions and sharing stories. Join us as we launch Lifegroups, a cornerstone of discipleship and belonging at Detroit Church, this semester through May. Starting the week of February 11th, Lifegroups will launch for the spring: a space for us to grow in our relationship with Jesus Christ and each other, fostering a sense of family that goes beyond mere meetings. Our vision is to have geographically-focused groups where we share life, care for the local community, practice discipleship together, apply the Word, and pray for one another, all while celebrating our unique differences and championing each other's spiritual growth. Who We Are - the church’s vision, mission, values, strategy and distinctive characteristics
What We Believe - the church’s doctrinal positions
What We Expect Of Each Other - why membership and what are the benefits, requirements and expectations
We want everyone who views Detroit Church as home to participate in a membership class. Remember, even those of us who declared membership as part of the elder installation in 2021 should go through this process so that we are all moving forward together.

God's mission is so much bigger than a physical building. Over the last seven and a half years, we've witnessed this firsthand as a portable church. God has been making us into a spiritual house where people of various styles, eras, and cultural identities can come and gather around the essentials of the faith and be changed by the unfathomable love of Jesus. Now, we believe He's leading us to discover what it means to be planted within the North End community of Detroit, in a physical facility that both we and our neighbors can call home. But we need your help!
